saving in two places at once

Postby joefarrell » Sat Aug 14, 2010 6:29 am

Hi,

I'm new to gimp and would like to automate some aspects of file saving. Mainly, I would like to be able to, with 1-2 mouse clicks, be able to save a file to two preset locations simultaneously. It would also be nice if the file name was automatically the days date. I'm open to whatever works. Script-fu?

Thanks!

This should not be too difficult and I would be willing to write a Script-fu which accomplishes this. It may take a couple of days as I have to leave town momentarily.

Question, would you want pre-existing files to automatically be overwritten? Or should the user be prompted? Or perhaps add a version number and save an additional copy?
